IMPORTANT GUIDELINES & INFORMATION

Identity Proof Requirement – Every Indian and international visitor must carry a photocopy of their valid photo identification such as Voter ID, Aadhar Card, Driving License, or Passport.

Booking Form Details – When completing the reservation form, kindly provide the complete names, ages, and genders of all group members in the message text box.

Early Booking Advantage – Reserving your safari in advance allows us to manage arrangements more efficiently and ensure a smoother experience.

Jeep Seating Capacity – Each Gypsy can accommodate 1 to 6 individuals. Two children under 5 years of age (without separate seats) ride at no additional charge.

Tourism Zone Popularity – Chilla Zone is well-developed and attracts the highest number of visitors throughout the year. Motichur Zone sees fewer tourists than Chilla but still receives decent footfall; it is easily accessible from NH-72 and located right next to the highway. Ranipur Zone is the least frequented among all. However, wildlife sightings depend entirely on luck, and no zone guarantees a specific jungle experience.

Jhilmil Jheel Zone – A Unique Wetland – This marshy grassland sits near Rajaji National Park (an extension of the Rajaji Tiger Reserve), close to Haridwar. Covering 155 hectares (383 acres), it serves as a vital corridor for wildlife moving between protected areas. Jhilmil represents the last untouched example of ancient Terai marshland in Uttarakhand. From the well-placed watchtower, visitors can view a landscape that has remained unchanged for centuries. This low-lying area (240 meters or 800 feet altitude) is home to Uttarakhand's only surviving herd of Swamp Deer, also known as Barasingha (Cervus Duvaucelii).

Ghori Range – Rich Biodiversity – Located in the northeastern section of Rajaji, Ghori Range boasts excellent ecological diversity with a fine mixture of ancient sal trees, riverine forests, grasslands, and mixed deciduous woodlands. Several year-round perennial streams, including the Tedon, support a wide variety of mammals, birds, reptiles, and insects. The Tedon Valley is accessible via a Gypsy track that crosses numerous small water streams, making the journey adventurous. At the halfway point, visitors find the Vindhyavasini Temple; guests may hike approximately 300 meters uphill to reach it and enjoy a panoramic view of the range. A 30-minute break is provided here.

Pickup and Drop Charges – Transportation to and from any location will involve an additional fee.

Guide Charges – Hiring a guide comes at an extra cost.

Booking Advance Payment – The advance amount includes the entry permit fee plus a minimum of ₹1000 (up to the full amount) for Indian guests. If a safari is canceled, the government permit cannot be canceled or transferred, making refunds impossible for that portion. For further clarification, visitors may contact the Director's office at Rajaji National Park, 5 Ansari Marg, Dehradun. Any remaining advance payment is subject to the cancellation policy and depends on how many days before the trip the cancellation occurs. Please be aware that if you fail to arrive on your chosen date and time for any reason whatsoever, no refund or adjustment will be provided under any circumstances.

Cancellation Due to Unavoidable Circumstances – If a safari is canceled because of situations beyond our control such as heavy rainfall, forest fires, large animal movement, orders from the Forest Department or Government authorities, political bandhs (strikes), or similar events, no refund will be issued.

Payment for Foreign and NRI Guests – All international and Non-Resident Indian guests must pay the full amount after submitting the booking form.

GST Charges – A Goods and Services Tax of 5% will be added to all invoices.

Our Commitment – Thank you for taking the time to read this information. We are dedicated to providing the best possible service to every guest who chooses to travel with us.
